why Hover ?
Hover sits at a rare intersection of technology, creativity, and the physical world.
For more than a decade, your team has been building a new way for homeowners, contractors, and insurers to understand and interact with property turning a simple smartphone scan into accurate, usable 3D models.
As someone who has spent twelve years translating ideas into real buildings, I’ve experienced firsthand the communication gaps that exist between professionals, clients, and the tools they rely on.
Visualization has always been the hardest part of the process:
-
Helping clients understand what’s possible
-
Aligning teams around a shared vision
-
Making confident decisions early
Hover is solving one of the most fundamental problems in the built environment:
helping people see and understand their spaces before they build, repair, or invest.
That mission deeply resonates with the direction my career has been moving.

Most creative leaders in technology come from agencies or traditional product design backgrounds.
My career took a different path.
For the past twelve years, I’ve been a daily user of the exact ecosystem Hover is transforming BIM tools, rendering platforms, construction documentation, and the complex collaboration workflows that connect architects, contractors, and clients.

why me ?

I’ve spent thousands of hours:
-
Helping clients visualize projects before they exist
-
Translating technical information into clear visual stories
-
Coordinating between designers, engineers, builders, and city agencies
-
Turning abstract ideas into real, built outcomes
I’ve seen first hand where the process works and where it breaks down.Throughout my career, one challenge has remained constant:
helping people confidently understand their spaces.
That challenge exists whether you’re designing a custom home, a hospital, or a resort.
It exists in:
-
Early concept conversations
-
Client presentations
-
Contractor coordination
-
Insurance and renovation discussions
-
Every moment where visualization meets decision-making
Hover is building tools that sit directly inside this reality. My experience offers something unique for this role: I’m not just designing for the built environment I’ve spent my career inside it.
I understand the mental models, language, and workflows of the professionals and homeowners Hover serves because I’ve been one of them.
Over time, that experience evolved into a deeper interest in the tools themselves. I co-created Domescape, a startup concept exploring how architectural services could be delivered digitally, and won the Synapse Design Competition for the idea.
That experience sparked a fascination with product thinking, rapid iteration, and building tools that bridge professionals and everyday users.Today, I’m most energized by the intersection of: design, technology, and real-world implementation.
The Creative Director role at Hover feels like a natural continuation of that path.

These projects were intentionally selected to highlight experience most relevant to Hover’s product and users. I’m happy to share additional built work and project details upon request.
Tesla Gigafactory — Large-Scale Collaboration & Systems Thinking
Located in Reno, NV : Contributed to the construction and expansion planning of one of the largest buildings in the world, supporting architectural coordination for Panasonic’s cell manufacturing division.
This experience exposed me to the complexity of large-scale collaboration across engineering, construction, and operations teams. It reinforced how critical clear visualization, documentation, and communication tools are when projects operate at massive scale.

Luxury Residential — Visualization & Client Decision-Making
Located in Greater Tampa Region : As Director of Design at MTBH Studios, I led the creative direction and delivery of more than 25 custom homes, guiding clients from early concept through permitting and construction.
A major part of this role involved developing visual workflows that helped clients confidently understand their future homes before construction began aligning expectations, reducing friction, and accelerating decision-making.
These experiences mirror the same communication challenges Hover is solving at scale.
Healthcare & Institutional Design — Complex Stakeholder Coordination
Located in Greater Tampa Region : At FLAD Architects and AECOM, I worked on healthcare campuses, mixed-use resorts, and large hospitality developments across the U.S. and Caribbean.
These projects required coordination between large consultant teams and diverse stakeholders, reinforcing the importance of design systems, clear communication, and scalable workflows.

Domescape — Startup Concept & Competition Winner
Co-created a digital platform concept focused on helping homeowners visualize and plan residential design projects. The project won the Synapse Innovation Design Competition and led to collaboration with technologists and entrepreneurs to explore how architecture services could be delivered through a scalable, software-driven model. This experience sparked my interest in product thinking, user workflows, and how architects and homeowners interact with digital tools throughout the design process.

PRODUCT INSIGHTS
Observations From an Architect Using Hover-Type Tools
After more than a decade working across residential, hospitality, healthcare, and large-scale commercial projects, I’ve spent thousands of hours using visualization tools to help people understand spaces before they are built or renovated.
Through that experience, a few patterns consistently emerge.
Visualization Is Still the Biggest Communication Gap
One of the hardest parts of architecture and construction is helping non-experts confidently understand spatial change. Even with drawings, renderings, and models, clients often struggle to fully grasp: • Scale and proportion • The impact of renovations • The relationship between design decisions and cost Hover’s ability to turn a simple phone scan into a measurable 3D model dramatically lowers this barrier and unlocks earlier, more confident decision-making.
The Real Opportunity Is Earlier in the Workflow
Today, visualization tools are often used after major decisions have already been made. In practice, the greatest impact happens earlier when homeowners and contractors are still asking: • What is possible? • What would this look like? • What would this cost? Hover has the potential to move spatial understanding upstream, becoming part of the earliest conversations in the property lifecycle.
The Bridge Between Professionals and Homeowners Is Still Forming
Architects, contractors, and homeowners all think about space differently. Professionals speak in plans, sections, and specifications. Homeowners think in photos, experiences, and outcomes. Tools that translate between these mental models create enormous value. Hover sits directly in this translation layer making professional-grade spatial understanding accessible to everyday users.

Creative Direction as a Strategic Function
As Hover continues to grow, creative leadership becomes increasingly important in shaping how the product, brand, and user experience evolve together.
The opportunity is not only to build powerful tools, but to build clarity, trust, and confidence into every interaction with the product.
Helping people understand their spaces is ultimately a creative challenge as much as a technical one.
